The Decision is Mine

The Whispering Past

I am a dentist, a man of science and logic, yet I have fallen in love with a woman from the past. Her name is Emily, and she is a vision from another era, with her flowing locks, her porcelain skin, and her eyes that sparkle like sapphires.

Emily is a time traveler, a woman who has somehow traversed the vast expanse of time to find herself here, in my modern-day dentist office. We met by chance, a twist of fate that has brought together two souls from different times.

Our love is forbidden, a paradox that defies the laws of nature. But I cannot deny the feelings that surge through me when I am with her, the way her touch sends shivers down my spine, the way her voice fills my heart with a melody that only I can hear.

Emily has offered me a choice: to stay here, in the present, with her, or to go back in time with her, to the world she left behind. I am torn, my heart divided between the world I know and the love I have found.

Do I stay in the present, where I am safe and familiar, but alone? Or do I journey into the past, to a world of unknown dangers, but with the woman I love by my side?

The decision is mine, and it hangs heavy in my mind. Do I follow her through the veil of time, or do I remain in my own time, forever haunted by the love I left behind?

Do I follow?

Do I stay?
