Hidden Secret of the Desert Oasis
The sun glows mercilessly on the dusty sand. The cracked tiles of the abandoned motel reflect its glare like malevolent eyes. The building, surrounded by sand dunes, cacti and majestic mountains, looks like a fossilised echo of times long past.
I am here to clean up the hotel, to remove the traces of decay. But the deeper I go into the building, the more sinister the atmosphere becomes. Old runes are revealed beneath the peeling wallpaper, telling a story of forbidden love and tragic accidents.
The wind howls through the empty rooms as if whispering secrets to me, of a primordial hunger sunk into the desert sands. The abandoned pool, filled with murky water, seems to magically attract me, as if to remind me of its past.
I hear voices whispering softly to me, voices of guests who have never really checked out. Their stories hang in the air like veils and I can no longer shake them off.
Am I trapped here, in this hotel surrounded by dark secrets? Or is it possible for me to banish these shadows of the past and turn the Desert Oasis Hotel back into a place of peace and tranquillity?
I stand on the deserted town square, the wind howling around me, sand whipping my face. The town is a ghost town, its buildings empty and skeletal, the streets echoing with the ghosts of its former inhabitants. I’m tired, hungry, and thirsty, but I know I can’t rest. I have to find a way to get back to my ship and warn the others about the aliens.
I’ve been walking for hours, following the tracks of the aliens. They’re heading towards the mountains, and I’m starting to think they’re leading me into a trap. I’m not sure if I should keep following them, or if I should turn back and try to find another way back to my ship.

But then I see something that makes my blood run cold. One of the aliens is standing by the ship, and it’s pointing a weapon at me.
I’m frozen in fear. I can’t move, I can’t speak. I’m just waiting for the inevitable.
The alien fires, and the bullet whizzes past my head. I turn and run, but I know I’m not going to get far.
I hear the alien coming after me, and I know I’m doomed.

I trudge through the thicket, the moonlight paints silver stripes on the forest floor. The trees are huge, their crowns towering over me like giant, protective hands. I follow a narrow path that winds its way through the undergrowth. The ground is soft and yielding and I can hear my footsteps sinking into the thick moss.
A clearing opens up in front of me and my breath catches. The air is filled with a magical light that reflects off the trees and the moss. In the centre of the clearing, a host of mythical creatures are dancing, their wings shining like stars.
I’m mesmerised, I can’t look away. The mythical creatures look so peaceful and happy, as if they are in a world of their own.
I enter the clearing and the mythical creatures look at me. They are beaming at me and I can feel their joy.
I want to approach them, but suddenly the ground beneath me softens and sways. I fall down and when I look up again, I see that the floor has turned into a smooth, black surface.
The mythical creatures have disappeared and in their place are now a host of dark figures. They have pointed teeth and glowing eyes, and they stare at me.
I’m scared, I can’t breathe. I want to run away, but I can’t move.
