The icy wind bites at my skin, a relentless force that stings my cheeks and numbs my fingers. I’m standing on the edge of a rift, a gaping hole in the frozen continent of Antarctica, where a team of scientists have stumbled upon a mysterious object buried beneath centuries of ice.
I’m Detective Dr. Alexandra Frost, a climate scientist with a penchant for solving mysteries. I’ve been called in to investigate the discovery, but I’m starting to think this is more than just a scientific anomaly.
As the scientists begin excavating the object, a strange energy crackles through the air, sending shivers down my spine. The temperature plummets, the snowflakes swirling around me growing denser, forming a suffocating whiteout.
