[SCENE START]
INT. COTTAGE – NIGHT
John and Sarah are sitting by the fireplace, the flickering flames casting dancing shadows on the walls.
JOHN:
Sarah, I’ve been thinking, there’s something missing tonight.
SARAH:
What’s that?
John leans in, his eyes locking with Sarah’s.
JOHN:
You, Sarah. I want to see you.
Sarah shifts uncomfortably, her eyes darting around the room.
SARAH:
I don’t know, John. I’m not sure this is the right time.
JOHN:
Why not? We’re alone, there’s no one to bother us.
SARAH:
I just don’t feel ready.
John sighs, his shoulders slumping in disappointment.
JOHN:
Okay, Sarah. I won’t pressure you.
They fall into an awkward silence, the tension in the room palpable.
EXT. MOUNTAIN RANGE – NIGHT
A group of scientists are huddled around a computer, their faces illuminated by the glow of the screen.
SCIENTIST 1:
I can’t believe it. The mountains are moving.
SCIENTIST 2:
But that’s impossible! Mountains are stationary.
SCIENTIST 1:
Tell that to the data. The readings are clear. The mountains are shifting, slowly but surely.
SCIENTIST 3:
But why? What’s causing this?
SCIENTIST 1:
We don’t know. But it’s clear that this is having a profound effect on the planet. The weather patterns are erratic, the tides are fluctuating, and there’s an increase in seismic activity.
SCIENTIST 2:
This could be catastrophic.
SCIENTIST 3:
We need to find a way to stop it.
They continue to study the data, their faces etched with worry.
INT. COTTAGE – NIGHT
Sarah is standing by the window, looking out at the dark forest. She is lost in thought, her mind racing.
Suddenly, she hears a noise outside. She turns around, her heart pounding in her chest.
She sees a shadowy figure standing in the doorway, its eyes glowing in the darkness.
SARAH:
Who are you?
The figure steps into the light, revealing its true form. It is a monstrous creature, with razor-sharp teeth and glowing red eyes.
Sarah screams and runs towards the fireplace, but the creature is too quick. It grabs her by the arm and throws her to the ground.
Sarah struggles against the creature’s grip, but it is too strong.
The creature leans in, its foul breath filling Sarah’s nostrils.
CREATURE:
You will be my bride.
Sarah closes her eyes, bracing herself for the worst.
But then, she hears a loud noise from outside. The creature looks up, startled.
Sarah sees a group of scientists running towards the cottage, their flashlights illuminating the night.
The creature growls in anger and releases Sarah, disappearing into the shadows.
Sarah scrambles to her feet and runs towards the scientists.
SARAH.
The Creature. The Creature. The Creature.
