I can’t believe it. We’ve done it. We’ve found it.

ETHAN:
(Skeptical)

ELEANOR:
Yes, I’m sure. We’ve tapped into the Earth’s inner core, the source of its limitless energy.

Ethan walks over to the control panel and studies the readings. His brow furrows in concern.

ETHAN:
But this is too much energy. It’s unstable.

ELEANOR:
No, it’s not. We’ve found the key, Ethan. This is the breakthrough we’ve been waiting for.

ELEANOR presses a button on the control panel. A blinding flash of light fills the room. The ground beneath their feet trembles violently.

ETHAN:
What have you done?!

The lab starts to shake violently. Books fall from shelves, equipment crashes to the floor. The two scientists struggle to keep their footing.

ELEANOR:
I-I don’t know. It’s out of control.

The tremors intensify. The lab walls groan and creak. The ceiling cracks and starts to cave in.

ETHAN:
We have to get out of here!

Eleanor and Ethan reach for the exit, but the door is jammed. The lab is collapsing around them.

ELEANOR:
We’re trapped!

The ceiling collapses, burying the two scientists beneath a pile of rubble. The laboratory is reduced to a smoldering ruin.

I stare into the mirror, my reflection flickering and distorting, as if the glass is melting under my terrified gaze. Suddenly, a grotesque creature emerges from the depths of the glass, its form shimmering and shifting like a mirage. It’s my reflection, but twisted and monstrous, a manifestation of my deepest fears.

The creature’s eyes glow red, its teeth are jagged and sharp, and its skin is pale and sickly. It smiles at me, a cruel and mocking smile, and I feel a chill run down my spine. It’s not just my reflection; it’s also a predator, a hunter, and it’s here to torment me.

The creature follows me everywhere I go, haunting my waking hours and nightmares. It lurks in the corners of my vision, whispering into my ear, feeding on my insecurities and fears. I can’t escape it, no matter how hard I try.

I’m trapped, a prisoner of my own reflection. The creature is slowly consuming me, piece by piece, until there’s nothing left but a shell of a woman.
