The mountain was shrouded in perpetual mist, so thick that I could barely see beyond my hand. I was part of a group of dwarven explorers, and we had been digging for weeks, trying to find the legendary dwarven city of Moria.
According to the old tales, Moria was a vast and prosperous city, home to thousands of dwarves. The city was said to be hidden deep within the heart of the mountain, and only a handful of dwarves had ever seen it.
We had been digging for weeks, and we were finally getting close. We had found the entrance to a tunnel, and we were slowly making our way towards the city.
suddenly, the tunnel collapsed. I was buried in the rubble, and I could hear the cries of my comrades echoing through the darkness. I was trapped, and I didn’t know how to get out.
I tried to dig my way out, but the rocks were too heavy. I was starting to get tired, and I was starting to lose hope.
Then, I saw a light. It was faint, but it was there. I followed the light, and I came to a small cave. In the cave, I saw a group of vampires. They were pale, gaunt, and they had long, sharp fangs.
The vampires hissed at me, and I knew that I was in danger. I tried to run away, but I was too weak. The vampires caught me, and they dragged me into the cave.
The vampires took me to their lair, which was a dark and damp place. There were other vampires in the lair, and they all stared at me with hungry eyes.
The leader of the vampires was a tall, thin man with pale skin and long, black hair. He approached me and said, “Welcome to Moria, dwarf. You have been chosen to be our new food source.”
I was terrified, but I didn’t show it. I knew that if I showed fear, the vampires would attack me.
I tried to act calm, but I couldn’t help but tremble. I knew that I was doomed, and I was starting to regret ever coming here.
The leader of the vampires smiled, and then he lunged at me. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain.
But the pain never came.
I opened my eyes, and I saw that the leader of the vampires was gone. He had been replaced by a beautiful woman with long, flowing red hair.
The woman smiled at me and said, “Don’t worry, dwarf. I won’t hurt you. I’m here to help you.”
I was confused, but I was also relieved. I knew that I was safe now.
The woman led me out of the lair, and she took me to a secret passage that led back to the surface of the mountain.
I thanked the woman, and then I ran away as fast as I could.
I never saw the vampires again, but I will never forget the day I was trapped in Moria and saved by a vampire.
