I am a cowboy, and I live in Corral, a small town in the middle of nowhere. We’re a friendly bunch, but we’re not afraid to fight when we have to. A few months ago, some aliens invaded our town. They were tall and skinny, with big black eyes. They didn’t talk, but they communicated with each other using some kind of telepathy. They were mean and nasty, and they killed a lot of people.
We cowboys decided to fight back. We knew we were outnumbered, but we were determined to protect our town. We rode our horses into battle, firing our guns and swinging our lassos. We fought hard and we fought bravely, and eventually, we defeated the aliens.
The town of Corral was safe once again, thanks to the courage and bravery of the forty cowboys who had fought off the alien invaders. We were heroes, and we were proud of ourselves.
But the aliens weren’t gone for good. They retreated to their spaceship, which was parked on the outskirts of town. We knew they were still out there, watching us, waiting for their chance to strike again.
One night, I was walking home from the saloon when I heard a noise. It was a low, moaning sound, coming from the direction of the spaceship. I crept closer, my heart pounding in my chest.
When I got to the spaceship, I saw a door open a crack. I could see a shadowy figure standing inside. It was one of the aliens.
I froze, not sure what to do. The alien looked at me, its eyes glowing in the darkness. I could feel its presence, its power.
I was scared, but I knew I had to do something. I raised my gun and fired. The shot echoed through the night, but the alien didn’t move.
I fired again, and again. But the alien didn’t fall. It just stood there, staring at me.
I was out of bullets. I was trapped.
I closed my eyes, waiting for the alien to kill me.
But it didn’t.
Instead, the alien reached out its hand and touched my face. Its touch was cold and clammy.
I opened my eyes. The alien was gone. The door to the spaceship was shut.
I stood there for a moment, trying to process what had just happened. I was alive. But I was also scared.
I ran back to the saloon, my heart pounding in my chest. I told the other cowboys what had happened.
They didn’t believe me. They said I was just seeing things.
But I knew what I had seen. And I knew that the aliens were still out there, watching us, waiting for their chance to strike again.
I don’t know what the alien wanted with me. But I’m not going to let it get to me. I’m going to stay strong and I’m going to protect my town.
Are you with me?
