The Orb of Darkness

I’m sitting here around the campfire, roasting marshmallows. The night is so still and quiet, I can almost hear my own heartbeat. Suddenly, a bright light flashes in the sky. I look up and see a glowing orb descending rapidly towards the nearby mountain. It’s like something out of a science fiction movie!

I call the other teens over to watch the orb. We all stand there in awe, mesmerized by its strange beauty. It’s pulsating with different colors of light, and it’s emitting a low hum that vibrates through my bones.

As the orb gets closer to the mountain, it stops and hovers in the air. Then, with a blinding flash, it explodes into a million shards of light. The shards cascade down the mountainside, forming a glowing portal.

From the portal, a series of terrifying creatures emerge. They’re tall and gaunt, with pale skin and glowing eyes. Their mouths are filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth, and they’re covered in a thick layer of slime.

The creatures emerge from the portal and start attacking the nearby trees. They swing their arms wildly, shattering the branches and ripping the bark. I can see that they’re not just mindless monsters; they’re intelligent and coordinated.

The other teens and I are frozen in terror. We don’t know what to do. The creatures are getting closer, and we’re running out of time.

I grab a stick from the campfire and start swinging it at the creatures. I manage to hit one of them in the head, and it falls to the ground. The other creatures turn their attention to me, and I start to run.

I run through the woods, dodging the creatures as they chase me. I can hear them growling and snapping at my heels. I’m running out of breath, but I can’t stop. I have to find a way to escape.

I run into a clearing and see a cliff. I don’t think I can climb it, but I don’t have any other choice. I jump over the edge and start scaling the cliff face.

The creatures reach the clearing and start to climb after me. I’m struggling to keep up, but I’m determined to reach the top.

I finally reach the top of the cliff and collapse to the ground, exhausted. I look back and see the creatures below. They’re staring up at me, their eyes burning with hatred.

I don’t know what’s going to happen next, but I know I’m not safe. I have to find a way to stop these creatures before they destroy everything.
