A New Enemy?

As a moderator of a popular subreddit, I have seen my fair share of annoying posts. But nothing could have prepared me for the series of truly infuriating posts that started appearing recently. Each one was more nonsensical, more offensive, and more infuriating than the last. It was as if the posters were deliberately trying to get under my skin.

At first, I tried to ignore them. But the more I ignored them, the worse they got. I started to feel a growing sense of anger and frustration. I would stay up late at night, fuming over these posts, plotting my revenge.

One night, I finally snapped. I couldn’t take it anymore. I decided to track down the posters of these annoying posts and give them a piece of my mind. I started with the most recent post, the one that had finally pushed me over the edge. I found the poster’s profile, and I followed their trail of comments and posts.

I followed them across the internet, from one website to another. I watched as they posted their inane comments and opinions, all the while feeling a growing sense of satisfaction. I was like a hunter, stalking my prey.

Finally, I tracked them down to a small town in the middle of nowhere. I rented a car and drove there, my heart pounding with anticipation. I parked outside their house and waited for hours, watching for any sign of movement.

Just as I was about to give up, I saw them leaving their house. I followed them to a local bar, where they sat down at a table and started talking to their friends.

I took a deep breath and walked into the bar. I approached their table and tapped them on the shoulder. They turned around and looked at me with surprise.

“You,” I said, pointing at them. “You’re the one who’s been posting those annoying posts.”

They looked at me in confusion. “What posts?” they asked.

“Don’t play dumb with me,” I said. “I know it was you. You’re the one who’s been ruining this subreddit.”

They shook their head. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” they said.

“Liar,” I snarled. “I’ve been tracking you for weeks. I know everything you’ve been posting.”

They looked at me nervously. “What are you going to do?” they asked.

“I’m going to teach you a lesson,” I said. “I’m going to make you regret ever posting those annoying posts.”

I reached into my pocket and pulled out a knife. The poster’s eyes widened in fear.

“Please don’t,” they begged. “I’ll never post again.”

I raised the knife, ready to strike. “Are you sure?” I asked.

They nodded frantically.

I lowered the knife and turned to leave. “Just remember,” I said as I walked away. “If you ever post another annoying post, I’ll be back.”

As I drove away from the bar, I felt a sense of satisfaction. I had finally gotten my revenge. But as I looked back at the bar, I saw the poster standing outside, watching me. They had a look of determination on their face.

I got a chill down my spine. Had I made a mistake? Had I just made a new enemy?
